How It Works
The ZELT loop precisely analyzes the electromagnetic signature of each bicycle or vehicle wheel, with 13 differentiation criteria. Its unique algorithm allows extreme precision in any configuration (shared road, bicycle boulevard, etc).
Each time a vehicle passes over the ZELT loops, its wheelbase generates a change in ZELT loops' magnetic field, triggering a count. Motorized vehicles are differentiated and classified by comparing their wheelbase distance.
The ZELT Loops are discrete as they are buried 4 to 5 cm (1.5’’ - 2’’) beneath ground level.
